Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026 (effective October 31, 2026)

This policy explains what happens with your information when you use the GovCrow website (“GovCrow,” “we,” “us”).

Short version: GovCrow has no accounts, no sign-up or contact forms, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies. We don’t collect personal information from visitors. Our web host keeps standard server logs, and if you email us, we get your email.

1. What we collect

From visitors: nothing that we use or keep. You can browse and search without telling us anything. Your searches and filters run in your own browser on data files the site sends to you. We don’t see what you search for, and we don’t store anything on your device (no cookies, no local storage).

Server logs at our host. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical information when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time, in order to deliver the site, keep it secure, and stop abuse. We don’t use that information to identify you, and we don’t build profiles. Cloudflare’s handling of it is covered by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

If you email us (for example about sponsoring), we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and what you write. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation, and keep it as long as it’s needed for that or for legal and tax reasons. Please don’t send sensitive information such as financial account numbers or government ID numbers.

Bid data. The bids come from the public SAM.gov data file. We leave out the contact names, email addresses, and phone numbers that appear in it.

2. Cookies and trackers

We don’t set cookies and we don’t use tracking pixels, advertising networks, social-media widgets, or third-party scripts. Because we don’t track, there is no cookie banner. We may later add Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that doesn’t use cookies or track individuals across sites. If we do, we will update this policy first.

3. Sponsors and links to other sites

Sponsored placements are labeled “Sponsored” and are plain text and links that we place ourselves. We don’t use ad networks, and we don’t give sponsors any information about visitors, because we don’t have any. If you click a link to a sponsor, SAM.gov, or any other site, that site’s own privacy practices apply, and it may see your IP address and set cookies.

4. We don’t sell or share personal information

We don’t sell personal information and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we haven’t in the past 12 months. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children, and the site is meant for businesses and adults. We don’t track you across other sites, so there’s no Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal for us to act on; we treat every visitor as opted out anyway.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information a business holds about you, to correct or delete it, and to not be discriminated against for using your rights. Since we don’t keep personal information about visitors, there is generally nothing to look up or delete, except any email you sent us. To ask about an email, or about anything else here, write to govcrowhq@gmail.com. We will answer within the time the law requires. California’s “Shine the Light” law lets Californians ask who gets their data for direct marketing; we share none.

6. Security

The site is static: it has no database of visitors, no logins, and no forms, so there is no stored visitor data to breach. Pages are served over HTTPS. Email we receive is held in our regular email account.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. If we ever start collecting personal information (for example, to add accounts or alerts), we will update this policy and get any permission the law requires before we do.
